RECORD #3530: Melvin, Mary (?????). I believe this to be Mary (Newcomb) Melvin. Passing at the age of 70 in 1906, she would have been born abt.1836 and having her children 1866-1874) between the ages of 30-38. The comment also mentions her son, James Melvin was present at death, still married, farmer's wife. Mary Newcomb had a son James and her husband, Michael, was a farmer. RECORD #3536: Melvin, Mary (NEWCOMB?). I don't believe this to be Mary (Newcomb) Melvin. Passing at the age of 70 in 1888, she would have been born abt.1818 and having her children (1866-1874) between the ages of 48-56! The comment mentions her son, Michael Melvin was present at death. I haven't (at least not yet) found a record that Michael Melvin and Mary Newcomb had a son Michael. Contributed by Michael Hughes at: apesound@yahoo.com |
